The workshop of wet-felting and fibers techniques was successfully held at Zelda Glazer Miami Arts Studio on June 16 and 17, 2016. This was a part of Summer Art Symposium by Miami-Dade County Public School. The room was filled with the energy of art teachers.
This is a great opportunity to meet artists at their studios this weekend. You will see amazing craft works.
Many artists in South Florida will open their studios on December 19 and 20 from 12 pm to 5 pm.

I am very pleased to announce my upcoming solo show, Self-Discovery, at Gallery 217 in Nova Southeastern University. This is my first exhibition in Florida and a great opportunity to see my fibers and glass pieces at one place.

A group show will start tomorrow in Nashville, TN. This show features soft sculpture by thirteen artists, and my two pieces are displayed in this great exhibition. The opening reception is on Saturday, October 3 at 6pm - 9pm.

This is my second week in Miami, FL, and I am getting settled into this new studio at Bakehouse Art Complex. My new chapter has started!
My thesis show was taken down last night. I thank all of you who came to my show, supported me, and kept encouraging me from the bottom of my heart. It was a very precious time and experience to meet people at the gallery and talk with them. I appreciate the Fibers department, the professors, faculty members, and classmates for their support. I also thank Non-Fiction Gallery. I was happy to be able to have my thesis show in the beautiful space.

Thank you for all of you who came to the Open Studio in Fibers at SCAD. It was amazing to see many people were enjoying our art works.
It was a great experience to talk with people about my works and get feedback. That brought a lot of encouragement and energy to work on to me. I will have my thesis show in May and announce the details on this blog.
It is exciting to learn new techniques. Jacquard weaving is interesting and has a lot of possibilities to create art pieces. Here is my first sample weaving.
I finished the Fall quarter this week. I am so satisfied with what I did during the quarter and feel that I found something I want to do with fibers. I will keep and deepen ideas of my art works in the break. I have just six months for graduation!
